ABOUT ME

We like people, nature and culture.

Embrik travelled a lot when he was young. He settled - starting a life as an organic farmer, and met Helene.

Embrik started hosting before we moved together, and now we both enjoy having the world visit us.

PHILOSOPHY

Our mission is "Pursuing a happy life". We think that cannot be achieved without contribute to help other people to do the same. That includes future generations. That is also why we are trying to live a low impact and quiet life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've hosted a lot, and surfed a few times. We hope to get to know our guests, learn from them and maybe together find new ideas.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've hosted more than sixty persons so far. From every continent, but mostly europeans. All were good experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skiing in fresh 50 cm. deep snow here in Gol. Meeting interesting people abroad. Riding horses on the beach in Iceland.
