ABOUT ME

Okay, this is serious. I don't know what to write on this box without any slightest possibilities of putting anyone off. Therefore, in the mean time, till I got something good enough to be put here, I'll leave it as it is.

Interests

Reading (fantasy, fiction, folktales, myths, literature in general), writing, good coffee, good food, good companies. I also attracted to old buildings and ruins, unique architectures, walking on old paved-roads, sitting on long bench of beautiful gardens, watching people pass by. I enjoy rich traditional cultures. I like beaches, the feel of sands under my feet, the smell of sea, the relaxing sound of waves, the cold and refreshing water, the clear blue sky. I also like being in the forest, filling my lungs with fresh air, listening to the merry sounds of the forest while hazy fog blurred everything around me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything from Pixar and Dreamworks, almost all Studio Ghibli's movies, Harry Potter, The Last Apprentice series, Agatha Christie, Sherlock Holmes series, Hunger Games, Tolkien, and more books that I couldn't fit all here. I like symphonic metal bands (Nightwish, Within Temptation and a casual listener of Lacuna Coil), MGMT, Panic! at the Disco, Big Bang, 2NE1, Epik High, Perfume, L'arc~en~ciel, Limp Bizkit, Sound Horizon, Kalafina, and more. Basically I like quite a wide variety of music genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Standing in the middle of pedestrial part of an old metal bridge, rocky creek with steep valley is hundreds of meters under me, while a train in high speed is passing by above me on the railway part of the bridge, shaking my footing and grips as if it will instantly collapsed and throw you to the huge rocks lining under, and scream my heart out during the whole thing. It was the old Cisomang Bridge near my Grandma's village, doing that is my favourite thing to do whenever I visit the place before the bridge's renovated. You will pass the bridge if you take train from Bandung to Jakarta or vice versa.

- Walked ups and downs the hill roads and crossed some small creeks for hours straight to reach a waterfall that I now can't even remember the name of in Wanayasa area, West Java, and walked the same distance back after. I was still in junior school, never been walked that long before, my whole body ached for days after the trip. But the waterfall was so beautiful with thick pine forest surrounding it, I considered it worth all the energy to reach the place.

- Watched the New Year fireworks on the dark beach of Cenang Beach, Langkawi, last New Year Eve. Cold sands under my feet, the water line is somewhere near me, everything's so dark except from the cracks and blasts of fireworks. It's beautiful.
