Présentation
À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
to learn, share, embrace life with vigor!
ABOUT ME
Graduated, panicked and moved to Japan where I taught English for a year and learned more about my heritage (mom's side). Biked 4000km with a group of awesome people and figured I want to continue pedaling and started planning an epic bike ride for 2009. Will embark on a fantastic journey of learning in August- from Vancouver to Buenos Aires- to be seen from behind my handlebars and atop a bicycle saddle!
Hoping to network and learn from everyone, but especially those who have creative and fun solutions to incorporating sustainability into their daily life.
PHILOSOPHY
yet to be fully developed...
although it would include elements of passion, harmony and respect...
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Want to offer a friendly place and face to those who visit me, and a keen ear and open mind for those who are willing to share their space and city with me!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Every time I meet a new couchsurfer, the first thing that comes out of my mouth is: I have yet to meet a couchsurfer i didn't like.
Centres d'intérêt
stories of all sorts: of people, of trees, of how a place came to be... (and storytelling: verbal, visual- i pretend to know what i am doing behind my big honking camera)
the environment: how it has been so forgiving for so long, and what i can do to try to give back and help protect, i want to EXPLORE more!
food: how it is produced, and how it nourishes...
achieving inner harmony: aikido (i'm still a white belt), meditation and yoga (i still can barely touch my toes)
