About Me
CURRENT MISSION
LIVE life and enjoy both the positive and negative aspects
ABOUT ME
I'm currently a student at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, majoring in marketing and sociology. I love to travel and meeting new people.
I'm most content when I'm outside, whether I'm running, playing rugby, people watching in a park or reading under a tree. I enjoy the rain just as much as I do a warm sunny day. Naturally I'm cold blooded, so I like the heat better than the cold. I'm not a vegetarian, but probably enjoy fruits and vegetables more than a lot of people. If I could afford to eat organically I would, but being a student with limited funds, it's not on the top of my priority list.
If you surf at my house, you won't only meet me, but my dog as well. She a one year old Italian Greyhound named Sophie.
If you want to know anything else, just ask...
PHILOSOPHY
I'll do almost anything at least once, for the experience, if nothing else.
Be the change you want to see in the world. - Ghandi
"I hope for nothing, I fear nothing, I am free." Nikos Kanzantzakis
"Christianity is a religion in a rush. Look at the world, created in seven days." Life of Pi
Today will not happen again, so enjoy every moment.
The best things happen when you don't have expectations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As I embark on my journey to see the world, I want to surf and host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It's limited, but so far, so good. Many of the highlights I have from my travels are things I did with previous hosts.
Interests
I like to have a good time, and will do pretty much anything - as long as the risk of dying is relatively low.
I'm not a huge drinker, although I've been known to toss back a few. I usually enjoy a few glasses of wine and a good conversation more than I do a noisy club.
As long as I'm doing something active, I'm usually happy.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love chick flicks! It's one of my few guilty pleasures.
Books:
Stephanie Plum series by Jannet Evanavich for a fun read; on a serious note, Wuthering Heights and To Kill a Mocking Bird
Also, I'm a big magazine reader with Newsweek, Rolling Stone and People being some of my favorites
Movies:
Hmmm.... anything light hearted and fun
Music:
I love oldies and classic rock, in addition to pop. Currently I'm trying to expand my musical horizons and love when my friends introduce me to new genres and artists.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ahhh....so many things, but a quick few:
Petra. It was breathtaking and amazing. And the Samaria Gorge. I like natural beauty, which has usually been "destroyed" in some sort of way.
Spending the night in the Wadi Rum desert, on a rock, under the stars was pretty amazing, too.
I can say I walked from Egypt to Israel and from Israel to Jordan.
