ABOUT ME

35 years old, convinced that the 30s will be the best years ever, always have some questions and am learning not to ask them all at once, love unusual and unsuperficial conversations, love people with the same / a great sense of humour. Love sharing and hearing about new recipes. Love bucket lists and year reviews.
Part of my general wish list is to see whales, go paragliding, to learn Spanish, to play barpiano, to grow some own vegies, fruits, herbs, to play paintpall and to go dancing more often.

40 years old, wants to travel the world, is interested in culture, architecture, quite humourous and turning into a amateur mechanic for our LandCruiser. Wants to ride his motorbike on a racetrack, fly in a hot air baloon and helicopter and go sailing.

PHILOSOPHY

“I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead and some come from behind. But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We surfed and hosted a lot during our travels and afterwards. It's been a bit quiet after our son was born a year ago but now we are ready for new couchsurfing experiences!! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have had great experiences with couchsurfing so far. People who have been extremely kind and made us feel at home after a short time of knowing them. Some really great discussions that could have gone on for ages! : )
It is awesome how this concept works and great to meet so many different people.

- Traveling through the Australian Outback, e.g. the Oodnadatta Track and visiting amazing places like the MacDonnell Ranges or the Flinders Ranges
- Swimming and snorkeling with whale sharks in Shark Bay
- Scuba Diving on the Great Barrier Reef, on the S.S. Yongala wreck and on the Ningaloo Reef
- climbing the scary fire lookout trees near Pemberton
- Seeing Landscapes like the Alpes from above
- Riding our motorbikes at the Cote d'Azur or in the Black Forest

- so much more things yet to try .. Kiting, Surfing, Paragliding .. maybe flying in a Wingsuit someday? :)
