About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To Live it Up!!!

ABOUT ME

I've been in Seattle for over three years now and still love living in the city. I love the surrounding mountain ranges and the water.
I've gone out to Orcas Island and tried out some sea kayaking which was amazing! Hiked some amazing trails off Hwy 2, the Bridal Veils Falls is still my favorite that and Lake Serene.

Before moving here I called Colorado my home, and there I got to learn to ski, mountain bike, rock climb, got in some amazing white water rafting! Level 5 all the way!
I also got to hike 14ner'€™s with my wonderful yet crazy sister who made us do midnight hikes in order to catch the sunrise. Breathtaking moments€¦ especially when your about to fall off a cliff and your sister is screaming for you to stop. She's funny.

I do enjoy many festivals, beer tastings, food outings and random road trips. My family and friends are still all there so I will be going back frequently€¦ especially to bug the many nieces and nephews I have.
And to hike the random 14,000+ mountains€¦ just to see if I still can. ;)
Did Grays for a full moon hike... On 6/5/12... Amazing!!!
Caught the sunrise... Froze but it was worth it. :)

I love to travel, and have been doing a lot since I was born€¦
I am originally from Mexico City; I've lived in different parts of Mexico. Cuernavaca is still certainly the best city if you love flowers and heat.
I love Madrid and hope to return to it one day€! Spain definitely has a lot to offer€!
Loved Vancouver, BC and people in Canada are amazingly sweet. I've gone to Toronto and loved Niagara Falls, more so on the Canadian side€¦
I'm a pretty busy person, I like to work out, and I work a lot and always have side projects. I hope to spend my free time doing all of the above but also do some scuba diving, some more kayaking and exploring of this amazing part of the world!

PHILOSOPHY

I want to live a life well lived. With mistakes, adventures, stories and experiences that leave me feeling full. Like a belly full of life. My father always told me/us. "Don't let someone tell you about it, go experience it for yourself, go see the world for yourself." I love that he said that. I try to live that way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meet Up/Activities/Host

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So I did a meet up hike group, which turned into an all day hike, followed by dinner and drinks. Which led to having my first couch surfer, which led to another fun filled day/night. Liking this a lot so far!

Interests

I am bilingual, love books, languages, foreign films and going to the movies, to art galleries and museums. Coffee shops and the downtown Seattle library still warm my heart. I am hoping to make new fun, outgoing friends that will want to be spontaneous or just want to enjoy a good conversation over some amazing coffee€¦ I was a coffee addict before moving here, but now I have my own coffee grinder.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies! I'm always searching for movies to watch, music to listen to and books to read. So if you have any recommendations, please do share.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel like I've been a really lucky person. I've had to this point a pretty well rounded life. Filled with adventure and beautiful scenery.
Recently Kona, Hawaii took my breath away... Amazing experience! Explored the Island with family and friends.
I've sky dived, skiied, hiked, water rafted, rock climbed, camped...
The list is a good one, but the common theme has been nature. There is nothing like being out in nature.
