Overview
About Me
Hello fellow Courchsurfers. My name is Emerencz (pronounced em-urr-ince) & i'm originally from Calgary, Alberta in Canada. I currently reside in Vancouver, BC. I am a queer, non-binary human who uses They / Them pronouns and I am 28 years young! I'm a libra sun, taurus moon, Aquarius rising. (you into astrology? cool.) I do not drink or smoke weed. I am obsessed with the color pink! It makes me happy.
About me:
I am a very down to earth and nomadic soul who is constantly traveling the vast beauty of this earth. I've spent the last six months in Portland, trying to figure out where I will be next on my journey. I travel to learn about culture, music, and to connect with other incredible people along the way. Music is a very big part of my life. I am a DJ / music producer / Record Label owner who is constantly trying to divulge more into experiences with music and people who are also into this as well. You can always find me with my eyes closed, dancing into the morning at clubs, or sitting on a street corner listening to someone busking. Art encompasses my entire life. If i'm not doing music, I am doodling, painting, taking photos, doing graphic design, or hunting down vintage for a new look im putting together. I also love food! Although I am gluten free / dairy free / meat free, I am obsessed with food and trying new things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking to connect with folx globally who share the same desire for connection with others. I would love to get to know you and chat about anything / everything. If you're into music, deep conversations, cooking, dancing, and just getting to meet an interesting soul, then we should definitely connect. Queer folx to the front! Would love to connect with like minded people, but also very open to learning about different folks.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Techno, ambient, disco, soul, funk, jazz, electronic, noise, classical. My taste varies so much but I have so much room for learning about your faves too.
Movies: I LOVE documentaries about everything and anything about culture, the world, facts, animals, criminology.
Books: Right now on a self care journey so I am reading a lot about that: Codependency No More, A New Earth, The Power of Now, It Didn't Start With You, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Opened for one of my favorite DJ's (Carl Craig)
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to create and share a new experience with really cool unique outgoing people that would like to be open to trying new things or even maybe showing the city to a very interested Canadian! I have a very warm, bubbly energy and if you're looking for a wacky queer person to liven up your space, you have found the right person!
What I Can Share with Hosts
We are very clean (I have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder so I make an effort to really keep the house or area orderly and left as it was found) and willing to help out as much as possible for your courtesy of sharing your home with us. I would love to cook with you or for you (If you trust me, hehe) and just bring some really lovely energy to your house hold.
