ABOUT ME

I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio USA and have lived right outside the city in a small (but not secluded) town of Fort Thomas, Kentucky my whole life.

I am definitely an introvert but if someone is open to talking to me I will be more than glad to talk back.

I have been going through somewhat of a tough part in my life and have always wanted to travel and so I plan to start doing that with the intentions of changing my attitude and exploring what our awesome world has to offer!

I'm pretty easy going and open minded and dont get stressed out very easily. Generally, I want to work on changing myself to be the person I really want to be by opening up my eating habits, learning to socialize more, and being happy while doing it.

PHILOSOPHY

I strongly believe in Mind Over Matter but have yet to effectively put that into practice myself lol..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really want to travel all over and do not nearly have the budget for that so have turned to couchsurfing not only for a much cheaper way of traveling but for what I believe is a much better way of traveling.

I have yet to use couch surfing but I hope to be editing this soon!

As for hosting I'm totally up for it but as of now am staying at my parents place. When I get my own place I will gladly host and show them around town.

Interests

I love the outdoors and really want to do some major mountain climbing at some point in my life. I like to canoe, kayak, hike and camp and have done a few week long camping excursions but usually don't last (to my disappointment) much more than that.

I have had a myriad of short lived expensive hobbies in my short lifetime ranging from flying two-seater planes, remote control planes and boats, building computers and working on them, and now mostly working on cars and motorsport. I have also played soccer (futbol!) most of my life and would love to have some pickup games around the world!

I attended a Waldorf School (hit me up if you know of this!) for all of elementary school and have always been involved in some way or another with all forms of art and after taking a few art classes hope to have a renewed interest in art across the globe, contemporary, historic, and ancient.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love just about all music except American country music and maybe like heavy metal. I've recently gotten into some cool swedish rap.

I'm an avid movie watcher and rely on various streaming sites to find free options. One of my favorites is The Intouchables. I try to find more meaningful movies but often find myself watching box office crap. Also like any Miyazaki film.

Books.. don't read as much as I wished I did but I'm getting into it more. Just finished The Martian by Andy Weir, technical but good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Woke up in the desert, swam up a Wadi and crawled through a cave and ended the day sneaking into a hotel spa
