Overview
About Me
I travel slowly and intentionally, paying attention to people, details, and what’s beneath the surface. Most of the time, I explore the world with my husband. We’re a grounded, curious team who value calm, depth, and real presence over rushing or constant noise.
We enjoy meaningful conversations, shared silences, discovering places through local eyes rather than tourist checklists, and laughing at life’s absurdities. We feel at home where honesty, respect, and emotional maturity are natural, and we’re open to new adventures, from snorkeling to hiking or trying other exciting experiences.
We appreciate irony, black humor, and seeing the humor in our own quirks and mistakes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We’re here to meet people who value depth, calm, and meaningful exchange. Couchsurfing is about human connection, shared moments, and seeing the world through real lives, not tourist filters. We travel independently, but love discovering the places locals truly value and sharing laughs and adventures along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books
I follow my own taste and avoid mainstream for the sake of mainstream. I’m drawn to music, films, and books that provoke thought, open perspectives, or touch something real, from mystic and historical novels to crime fiction and quantum physics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I walked away from comfort and familiar structures to build a life aligned with who I truly am.
Teach, Learn, Share
We bring real curiosity, honest words, and a sense of humor, and we love seeing the world through other people’s eyes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Thoughtful presence, open-minded exchange, and conversations shaped by living across cultures. We don’t come to fix, rescue, or perform. If we connect, it’s because we’re genuinely curious about each other’s perspectives, not because we need something from one another. We notice and truly appreciate kindness, generosity, and gestures of hospitality even if we cannot offer the same in return at that moment. We have no fixed home, so we cannot host, but we are open to connecting, sharing experiences, and exchanging ideas wherever we are.
