ABOUT ME

I grew up in Portland Oregon, all the way over in the western corner of the USA. Moved to the east coast in Virginia when I was 18, then to London when I was 20 to go to drama school. I spent a year living and studying (painting) in Aix-en-Provence and fell in love with France. I lived in Paris for 2 years studying at an International Theatre School (Jacques Lecoq). Since then I've moved back to Virginia and settled (at least for now) in Richmond. I work in coffee during the day and play music in various configurations, but primarily with my band Lili and the Dirty Moccasins.

I believe in living well and enjoying every moment. I love creative people who want to challenge themselves and those around them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some of my best friends were previous acquaintances whom I stayed with when traveling to their neck of the woods. It's such a unique way to get to know someone. I'm also always happy to host anyone I've met, whether I know them well or in passing. I'm so happy to have a broader network to do this...

My ultimate daydream is that someday Jack White and Karen O will walk into the coffeeshop (that I will someday open) and say "Hey, nice shoes. Wanna be in a band?"

My favorite book is Letters to a Young Poet by Rainer Maria Rilke. I love the story El Aleph by Jorge Luis Borges - I have a tattoo of the title :)
