About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Chill out summer of 2018/2019! Then 2019 bring on Europe! 😁

ABOUT ME

I haven't used or updated my couch surfing profile for 9 years! So useless... I guess the work work work life lead me astray. Now it's time to reconnect with the world and meet heaps of new people!
I'm 31, living in Nelson, NZ and my mission for this summer is to enjoy life as much as I can! Then I'm off for traveling of my own next year 🎉

PHILOSOPHY

Life is good, live for today but don´t forget tomorrow or where you come from.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined for the first time about 9 years ago when I was living in my home city Córdoba in Argentina, I was a host for about a year back then. And I had the pleasure of hosting a lot of really cool people.
These days I'm up for meeting people who are traveling through Nelson or living here! And next year I'll expand my couch surfing horizons by visiting Europe!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Below is my couch surfing experience from 9 years ago! I wish to expand this in the coming months and years!
"I hosted Ameur, a really cool canadian guyabout a year ago i believe. After that i had Kelly over and then John, both of them i met while travelling Asia. Then one time i hosted Josh from england and his friend Roos from the netherlands, really cool people to know. And unfortunately when i received a couple of couch surf requests i was either hosting John or in Buenos Aires so i couldn´t have some people over. Now I'm back from my second attempt in NZ and living on my own. So far I've hosted Max (really cool and daring German guy, daring cause he kept up with my and my mates on a crazy cordobian Sunday). Then my friend that I didn't know I have, Nigel from OZ. And after that I was lucky enough to be the chosen one to host Anna and Frauke from Germany, really cool girls with a desire to learn spanish as big as a house. I enojoy having people over, specially from overseas. I think CS is awesome! I really need to update this! hehehe, well... after the german girls i hosted Marie, Nele, Rebecca, Artie and Sasha. Its has been amazing hosting all these wonderful people, if i started described all them this would be as long as writing a book! haha. Couchsurfing is amazing!"

Interests

I love playing Football! (soccer for some people) if i could i would play 24/7!
I'm a people's person, living in a different country other than my own a d traveling has made me realize how much I enjoy hanging out with people! I'll be the guy cooking up a big BBQ and calling up everyone in town to come join us!
I have recently got back into reading (something I've neglected for years)
And yoga! While I wouldn't consider myself anything other than a yoga enthusiast I love yoga. Started about 5 months ago, just doing YouTube videos and it has brought a good change in my life 😁

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read a good book(The kite runner, the alchemist, the little prince, etc), I've also recently started reading more about yoga and where it comes from. Hard read for me but I'm enjoying it.
Action movies, Thrillers, Adventure, Comedy, movies to kill time are always good. but i enjoy a good drama as well.
music, pfff. any music is good, you just need the right time and atmosphere and you can enjoy anything. Personal favorites are big international bands like Metallica, ACDC, Guns and Roses, Foo Fighters, Queen, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi. Love legends like Bob Marley, and more than a few Argentinean rock bands (Los piojos, Sumo, los redondos, soda)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting to "Caroline Hut" from the "Ball shelter" without anything but our boots (not even water, that was stupid. we had to head back to ball shelter once we reached Caroline hut), when the DOC told us we couldn´t get there without ice axes and crampons. Stupid but amazing.
Diving in Thailand, that was amazing as well.
I can't take these two experiences aways from this section but I have to definitely add Machu Pichu here! That place is breathtaking,

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help an english speaking person to improve his/her spanish, or help them to start with the language.
As I love to play football (soccer) I like to share that with people, a friend of mine says "you can get a good idea of people if you just play football with them" and I can nothing but agree with that!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Endless laughter and good vibes accompanied by some good food! I love to cook for people at home or their home 😂
