ABOUT ME
I'm Emiel van Ginhoven, 28 years old and I'm a father of a beautiful almost 1 y/o that lives in Hamburg.

At the moment I am working in Asmterdam painting boats and houses for an employer.

A few months ago my world turned upside down, or rather, it was a slow process of crippling turning of upside down where we (our little family in Amsterdam) lost our income and lost our home. After losing our home, we struggled to live in different places and in the end, the pressure wighed me down to a point where I just couldn't do it any more. From that point my (ex) wife moved to Hamburg with her family and I moved back to my mother.

Therefore in this period I'm looking to go to Hamburg and much as I can and I want to meet friends that live in Hamburg, because it's my plan to move there to be with my daughter.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had some really magical times couchsurfing and people coming over to couchsurf, I've also hitchhiked and met up with some people through couchsurfing :)

Centres d'intérêt

I love dancing, it's everything for me, I love dancing with others, but also alone. Sometimes I dance at home, but usually and preferrably I dance with others during events like ecstatic dance, and I sure feel ecstatic, dancing so freely and sometimes intimately with others. For me, it's a beautiful way to shake everything up and off, to explore boundaries and myself and others (safely) and to give my body the delicious movement it needs.

I like singing also, I sang in a choir for a little while, but I sing sometimes songs that I like from Youtube and then I find the lyrics.

I meditate daily, usually in the momring and in the evening, it infuses my day to day activity with more joy and creativity :)

In Amsterdam I cycle quite a lot, usually after work, I go for a lovely ol' cycle along the beauty of Amsterdam, just anywhere, enjoying the ride, releasing whatever rush/stress I've built up during work (or not, but at least I'll enjoy the ride :))- work can be a bit stressful sometimes- painting large areas, having to quickly go so the paint doesn't dry up elsewhere and just maybe the general workpressure. The more I'm aware during working, the more chance I can get into a kind of flow and joy, but it can be hard to 'achieve'.

I love hanging out with friends, in Amsterdam I often go around and visit some spots/call friends to hang out <3

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music:
I think that at the moment my favorite is still Aphex Twin, the diversity and emotion he brings into his music, yeah :) I listen to music a lot and I like music that I can dance to also. I've lately started listening to classical music, opera, I thought I'd never like it, but I guess it happend :)

Movies:
I think the green beautiful is my all time favorite <3 absolutely recommend you to watch it!

Books:
SInce I discovered Paulo Coelho, I've actually been reading- I'm otherwise not so much of a reader. I read some book from Murakami and lately Paulo Cognetti. I'm mostly into the beauty of the written, not so much into the story necessarily.

Hm, I think that the most life changing was a 10 day vipassana retreat.
