ABOUT ME

I am a recent college grad living and working in Portland, OR. I grew up in Knoxville, TN until I was sixteen and moved to Shenzhen China. Ever since then, I have had some of the craziest experiences, met some of the greatest people, and have been inspired to travel and learn. I have a special passion for China, as it was there that I learned to love all of the diversity and quirkiness of the world. I am working on my Chinese, though it is proving to be a difficult language. I love being independent and am willing to try just about anything once. My bucket list gets added to all the time. My life plan changes often. The one thing that stays constant is my desire to travel.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, I cannot offer a couch at this time, but plan to open a couch for surfers in the future- where ever I may be! I think CS is a wonderful idea and I am excited to become a part of this network of people. I would love to meet up with fellow couch searchers, so please contact me if you are interested in coffee or a drink!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed with a great host for 3 nights in Berlin and, through couch surfing connections, found a great place to stay in Amsterdam. I've also met other couch-surfers in hostels and bars.

Cooking and eating. I have a hard time believing there are people out there who don't love food. I'm also an active person and love the outdoors.

Movie: Mr. Nobody. And any James Bond movie My music tastes vary from day to day and I genuinely can't think of a genre that I don't like. I will forever love Where the Red Fern Grows and can always appreciate a good cookbook!
