ABOUT ME

My highs are great giggly in the moment wonderfulness, and my lows are bad Russian prose. I drove a team of Alaskan huskies in the 2010 Iditarod. After 23 years in Alaska, I’m endeavoring to live without snow in my life for awhile. “Here comes the sun ~ it’s been a long, cold, lonely winter *”

PHILOSOPHY

A forest is my church. Northern Lights are liquid light in the sky. Human life is sacred, and also some kind of joke. I'm often serious, becoming more cheerful. We live on the only know ovum seed pod eden sphere in the universe. One reason for history museums (I thought of in Stockholm), if there is such a thing as reincarnation, you can look at an object and say, "hej, that was mine."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing sky, mountain, sunset, moon rise, starlight, sun rise views mushing dogs. Driving a team of Alaskan huskies over frozen Susitna River under auorora borealis ~ the hush of runners on snow, moving through a fog of dog breath ~ even at forty below.

Kayak camping in Simpson Bay, Prince William Sound ~ in darkness each paddle dip stirred green luminescence, rudders left trails, sparkled the sides of the gliding craft *
