About Me
Hi there! In 2017, I embarked on a solo cycling adventure through Europe, starting in Gdansk, Poland, and making my way through Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary, down to Novi Sad, Serbia. From there, I cycled back to Denmark, passing through Hungary, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Germany. It was an unforgettable journey, made even more incredible by the wonderful locals I met along the way, many of them through Couchsurfing. Their kindness and hospitality turned my adventure into something truly special.
Now, years later, I’ve reopened my Couchsurfing profile, and it’s brought back so many great memories—reading my old profile text, looking through the pictures, and reliving those moments.
This time, I’m on the other side of the experience! I have the time, space, and enthusiasm to host travelers in my apartment in Copenhagen. I’m excited to meet inspiring, adventurous people from around the world, share stories, and perhaps give them a small piece of the hospitality I’ve experienced myself.
Below is my old profile text from 2017, which I’ve kept for sentimental reasons:
Hi
I am living in Copenhagen where I study to become an engineer. I get a lot of spontaneous ideas and most of them I do not carry out. But about 1-2 month ago, after a short vacation in Poland, I got the idea to use my two months summer vacation to cycle through Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic and Germany. So I bought a bike and started training.
I then bought a ferry ticket and arrived in Gdynia June 27. It is my first solo trip and 2 months alone in different hotel rooms sound a bit boring. So I have joined couchsurfing and have already met some wonderful people. I hope to meet a lot more nice people on my way through the countries.
Besides cycling around I do what every young person like to do: Watch netflix, party, hang out with friends, read, math, genealogy. ;D
If you want to know more just send me messages. :)
PS. Below you can see the route I have cycled so far:
Gdansk (PL) --> Grudziadz (PL) --> Toruń (PL) --> Płock (PL) --> Warsaw (PL) --> Radom (PL) --> Kielce (PL) --> Kraków (PL) --> Poręba Wielka (PL) --> Kluszkowce (PL) --> Poprad (SK) --> Somoskőújfalu (HU) --> Kocskemét (HU) --> Szeged (HU) --> Novi Sad (RS) --> Kunfehértó (HU) --> Budapest (HU)
