About Me

Hello Community,

I am a german student currently doing an exchange semester close to Melbourne. For almost 5 years I've been living in Munich now and I love the international and multicultural environment. My greatest interests are different cultures, politics and history (yes I study history at home ;) ). With my friends I usually discuss and debate but I also have some fun, so it is not all about serious issues.

The last years I lived in a very small room, there was literally no room for guests but this probably changes when I am back home, so you'll get the chance to have an awesome host in Munich!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the best possibility to get in touch with locals. On my travels I usually try getting out of the international bubble and meeting up with interesting people. I am also fine with just having space on a couch or on the floor for my mat.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: various (I am addicted to reading!), classical german literature (Thomas Mann, Lion Feuchtwanger, Hermann Hesse, Stefan Zweig) but also modern literature (e.g. T.C. Boyle, Isabel Allende)

Music: the Lumineers, Mumford & Sons, various other artists of all genres (includes older music like classical music and baroque)

Movies/Series: House of Cards, Westworld, Imitation Game

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I followed the Hadrians Wall Path in the UK for 6 days. I was alone but I always met nice people and it was one of the best experiences of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am interested in all kind of stuff, especially I would like to improve my language skills in English and Spanish. At home I also cook many times and I like almost any kind of food so I want to learn from different cultures.

What I Can Share with Hosts
