26-year old guy from Copenhagen, Denmark who's heading to Boston to study journalism, criticism, and music as an exchange student this fall.

I have a bachelor's degree in musicology and have been a freelance writer, music journalist, and critic for a year and a half now, writing about as diverse genres as extreme metal, hip hop, jazz, rock, and pop music. I'm heading to Boston to expand and evolve my journalistic competences as well as my writing skills, but also to experience and explore the music scene in the city and hopefully grow a little as a person and human being.

As you might can tell, my primary interest is with art and music but I'm also pretty well versed in regards to film, politics, and philosophy. And of course I'm always up for a good chat or discussion about important issues relating to these fields.

Besides that I'm nice, talkative, and easy to be around, if I may so. Also, I appreciate cleanliness and order, and I know when to shut up. Just so you know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will arrive in Boston on the 18th of August and will attend an orientation weekend at Boston University from the 30th of August and onward. The semester starts on the 4th of September.

I don't have a place to stay, but hope that I will manage to find a room or a flat within the days between the 18th of August and the 4th of Semester. If I can sleep on a couch just a few days until my housing situation is settled, I would be thrilled.

Impossible to pick. Let's just say that I enjoy a wide variety of music spanning from John Coltrane to Rush to to Tears For Fears to Kanye West to Slayer.

Regarding films - my favorite is Robocop (with Kubrick's 2001 on a close second).
