ABOUT ME
Hey!

I'm a danish guy who's going to travel from Ushuaia to where ever the roads take me north. I really do not have that many plans except seeing some of the great nature in the area.

I'm gonna hitchhike and camp! I want to meet some locals and see some towns too, and that's why I hope I can stay and hangout with some of you. A couple of days at least.! It doens't matter where you live. I have all the time in the world.

I'm a 22 year old from the southern part of Denmark. I want to experience something different in the cities of Europe and the rest of the world. So far I've been traveling in Tanzania, where I climbed Kilimanjaro with a friend of mine, and experiencing the music scene of east and south USA by my self, since I've graduated the danish Gymnasium. The trip in the states was also the first time where I used Couchsurfing. It was probably the best choice of my travel. It brought my closer to some of the nicest people I've ever met. I love studying, talking to and meeting other people which is something that have brought me great friends and joy into my life. When going on holiday I love experiencing what would be the "normal living" of town people, which for me is the way you really dig into another culture. Normally I can use hours in museums (the record is 6 hours in Louvre) and watching people walking by when i'm in big cities, but I'm a true fan of nature as well. I've been swimming in the ocean two times a week every winter the last three years (It's quite cold) and enjoying every sunset so far.

I'm an average player in a lot of sports, so if you want to challenge me in any way while spending your time with me, you'll be welcome. Going to different kind of music events would be a pleasure as well. I
When I'm not working as a subteacher (Jack Black style), I'm reading, making music and hanging out with my friends and girlfriend.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've just graduated what would be something like high school in USA, and before i'm going to keep studying at a university I want to experience other cultures than where I come from. Hopefully the people on Couchsurfing will help me with that, and show me how a local lives.

Interests

I'm a huge fan of history, people and music. I make music in my bedroom and uses a lot of time reading books and meeting up with friends. The best friends of mine is very different and that makes it much more fun to have guys and girls friends like those when living in a rather small town like mine.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Tame Impala, Mikael Simpson, (danish), Beach House and a lot of different and 'old' Rn'b.

Movies: Birdman, The Prestige, Memento.

Books: Charles Bukowski is my favorite author, and I've found myself reading a lot of american litterature from the 50's.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got lost from my friends at a huge street party (100.000 participants) called Distortion in Copenhagen. It ended up being the most strange and fun night of my life because of all the different and friendly people i met.

.. And I climbed Kilimanjaro this year!
