Overview
About Me
I'm a happy guy from Sweden, recently graduated doctor, traveling around Europe with trains (have made a sorta promise to never fly what with the environmental impact). I like talking about politics, philosophy, music, the environment... I play the guitar and I am addicted to running and hiking.
I'm on couchsurfing because I think it's a great way to travel and to meet new people
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think couchsurfing is a fantastic way to travel the world - to see both new places and new cultures. It also builds on a view of humanity as sharing and helping, which is something I support whole-heartedly
Interests
I've been running orienteering (a sport where you run in the woods with a map) since I was 7 years old, and I've always liked to hike and wander in the nature. Whenever I go to a new city I like to explore the layout of the city, which I prefer to do with a map in my hand and running shoes on my feet.
I like pretty much every long-distance sport - running, biking, swimming - and my goal is to one day do an Ironman.
I love music and I played the guitar in a band for a few years before I started at university. I enjoy discussing politics and there's nothing taboo to talk about in my apartment.
I study fifth year at med school and I do enjoy discussing medicinal politics and controversies!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I like pretty much anything that is intricate and has a depth beyond "hey, let's make money off this beat", and also good beats. I'm mostly a rock/hard rock fan with my all time favourite being Pink Floyd
Books: I'm into epic fantasy - Robin Hobb, Brandon Sanderson, Robert Jordan. I also like books about society and philosophy - George Orwell, Daniel Kahneman.
MOVIES: Huge Christopher Nolan fan, but I'm into pretty much anything with a good plot that makes you wonder what the hell just happened
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jumped from a cliff 20 meters high
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to learn about new cultures and to see other philosophies to broaden my perspective of society. I'm happy to share my views on Swedish/European society and my opinions on education and study techniques
