Hello,

My name is Emil and I am a proud Edmontonian and proud Canadian! I have not traveled as much as I would have liked to by now, but I'm working on that. I work as a graphic designer and communications director, and I enjoy writing, blogging, photography, reading, music, and movies!

I run a local blog & website called 'I Heart Edmonton' (yeglove.ca), as well as a personal bucket list-type blog called '100x40' (100x40.blogspot.com). Oh, and I'm kind of a zombie nerd!

As much as I love my hometown, I have that itch to explore and learn about other places around the world firsthand!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music and all genres of film. My favourite movie would have to be 'American Beauty.' I like to read as well, and it doesn't matter what genre...but my favourite book of all-time is J.D. Salinger's 'The Catcher in the Rye.'

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I always wanted to write a book, and in 2014 I finally did! I self-published 'The Turn' that summer.
