About Me
ABOUT ME
My friends would most likely say I'm the social type. Meeting new people is something that I really appreciate . That urge to experience different cultures has led to me living in Mexico, Norway, France, Australia, the U.S., Hong Kong, and now finally to Copenhagen.
I'm an active person as well and obviously since I'm a part of this community I really, really love to travel. I especially like to explore new citys and other sites by foot. To just walk and walk and walk and... you get it! Thats why I often like smaller places because in some of the bigger cities those possibilities tend to be not as good.
I also love languages, and it has made me able to speak English, Spanish fluently, a basic French, apart from Swedish of course. The love for languages is because of my interest in new learing about new cultures. Being able to speak with locals just maximizes the visit of a new country and it enables you to see things that you wouldve never experienced otherwise.
Also: big interest in sports, food and all forms of art and culture.
PHILOSOPHY
At this moment my personal philosphy basically comes down to: travelling is life, life is travelling. All the interests that I have I can combine so perfectly while travelling. It's just the best way to spend time, money and energy!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfing in New York City and it was amazing. Also in Baja California, Mexico and it was equally good. Met some other CSers in Mexico City as well.
Going to a "hidden" beach in Baja California.
Brooklyn Zoo with my host in NYC.
Great dinner at the rooftop terrace, watching the Manhattan Skyline.
(Wanting to add more..)
Interests
My biggest interest would probably be meeting new cultures and meeting new people! That's why I've moved to new cities many times in my life, changing directions.
But apart from that I really love to do sports, or some sort of physical activity. Playing football, squash, tennis, bouldering, yoga, running, alpine skiing. Basically anything that's not swimming or cross-country skiing I guess.. haha!

Music, Movies, and Books
Mornings in Jenin; one of the most descriptive and mind-blowing books I've read. Haruki Murakami. Eyvind Johnsson.
Love movies, it's a huge interest. Favorite ones would be all movies in the Memento/Old Boy-style. Movies that gives you all the details except some little small important piece that makes you not see the whole of the puzzle. In one little piece of information the director is able to show you the entire image in a matter of seconds. Amazed every time!
I appreciate it all. Even though really heavy stuff I rarely find the time and the place to listen to. D'angelos album Voodoo.
Frank Ocean with his album Channel Orange.
Drake
But also love classical music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During my year in Mexico I went to la Huasteca Potosina wich is a natural reserve in the state of San Luis Potosi, Mexico. We went 14 people in a combi to this amazing place for about 5-6 days. We saw a crazy architects installation to his wife in the middle of the djungle, jumped from 18 meter waterfalls, swimmed in canyons, slept in tents every day and we also saw a natural phenomenon where birds sleep in a huge cave-like hole every night (300 metres deep) and every morning when the sun reaches in far enough they all fly out to eat and such. There must've been millions of birds flying out of that "hole" during 30 minutes and it was just impossible to either catch on film or to take photographs. Such an amazing experience!
Also of course: skydiving in Cuatla. Diving outside Cozumel, seeing the northern lights in the north of Sweden and spending "midsommar" (a swedish holiday in late june) in Överkalix (way north in Sweden) where the sun never sets in summer.
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn from and teach others about cultures is amazing. Just learing through discussions, dialogue and talking. Just be yourself and tell your stories and talk about your experiences should be good enough for everyone!
