Overview
About Me
For over a year now I have, above of all, been Oda's dad. When I'm not stacking towers of plastic buckets, changing diapers, looking at ducks, eternally wiping floors and and kitchen tables, walking around really really slowly, and sleeping with small feet in my head, I am writing a PhD project on Ancient Greek History, enjoying Copenhagen, looking for a cheap outdoorsy place to live outside Copenhagen, and taking trips around the country with Oda and my partner, Caroline, in our campervan Ruth.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started my half year's university exchange in Turin couchsurfing in an apartment with four lovely persons. It was the best start I could have wished for. An open door to the life of the locals, and to a good friend. Now I want to "pay back" by hosting and meeting new people in the same warm atmosphere I experienced in Italy.
Interests
Music, nature (especially when hiking through it!), history, philosophy, climbing, traveling, reading, meeting people - everything that triggers my imagination.

Music, Movies, and Books
There is no better fiction than reality. So... there is no better book(s) than Karl Ove Knausgård's Min Kamp.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ten years ago three friends and I bought a piece of land in the Swedish woods where we are building a cabin - happily exploiting the manpower of our friends for the price of free beer.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I think the best I can offer is a happy mood and a genuine interest in people I do not yet know.
