Hi!! (Labas - in Lithuanian :))

I am a proud Lithuanian, currently studying the IB in Japan. I have always loved traveling, getting to know new people, new food, new cultures, history, learning new languages, and having the most random and interesting conversations.

I am keen on investigative journalism and archery as well as a lot of different kinds of dance and kickbox.

Some of interesting things that I do/have done include:
- leading my school's newspaper and digital blog
- leading 4 children's camps
- being a mentor for my school's 5th graders so that they integrate into the community faster
- walked 110 km with backpacks in 5 days
- cycled 110 km in 2 days
- custom painted my school wall
- learned a Rubik's cube in one day :)))

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I am currently a student I travel on a low budget but I will be sure to entertain my host with my most interesting stories and debates as well as share the skills that I know.

I believe that to actually travel it means to see how the local people live, what they do, how they communicate, what they care about. And living with the local people is the perfect opportunity.

I also want to create bonds, share what I can and create a network of people as I go.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have taught the Lithuanian language to the refugees from Belarus and Ukraine so they can better implement into our society.
