Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I'm on couchsurfing because it's such a great way to meet people. I couchsurfed with a friend in Alaska and I met people I still keep in touch with today. It's a more unique way to travel (and cheaper too, because, uh, did I mention I'm a writer?).

Music -- pop, americana, folk, hip-hop. I will always love Beck and Liz Phair but also love Ariana Grande, sooooo a lot of stuff.

Movies -- favorite is Forrest Gump and I'm into documentaries on Netflix right now

Books -- LOVE me a good novel (always looking for recs)

I would say the most impactful decision I've made in my life is moving to Asheville, NC, for a month after a breakup and learning more about myself while exploring a new place. I threw my mattress into my dad's minivan and drove down the east coast with my cat. Rented a house, met new friends, did yoga, ran in the Blue Ridge Mountains, ate biscuits. It was beautiful.
