About Me
Last year I left my job to take a sabbatical and I have done a lot of solo-traveling since then.
I'm a nature-lover and a very down-to-earth person with an open heart and open mind.
I don't need the biggest parties or adventures to have a good day: I just love spending time outdoors, going for a walk/a hike or just grabbing a coffee and having a nice time with some good laughs and interesting talks.
Although I cannot offer to host anyone at the moment, I would be happy to meet travelers who visit my home town Düsseldorf.
Even if you have general questions about traveling or living in Germany, I might be able to help. Feel free to contact me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
From my experience so far, couchsurfing is a great way to occasionally meet up with other travelers and/or to get in touch with locals to get a deeper understanding of their culture, customs and just random everyday things that you won't find in a travel guide.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing Big Daddy Dune in the Namib desert.
Traveling solo for half a year in a row. Especially traveling alone in China, far away from the modern mega cities, without knowing a word of Chinese.
Teach, Learn, Share
From every situation (good or bad) and every person that comes along our way, I believe that we can learn something. Traveling can truly help to become more sensitive for those little everyday lessons. Interacting with each other and exchanging ideas we can all learn and grow and broaden our horizons day by day.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Sharing stories and experiences from traveling around the world. Teaching some German. Baking cakes/cookies.
Moreover, I'm a hands-on person and somewhat technically gifted (handicrafts, gardening, repair works, upcycling..).
