About Me

I was working in La Controra Hostel in Naples and Rome. I also spent some time on Mexico. Now I am studying (cultural studies of Latin America) in Warsaw.

If you want to stay with us - go to "my home" section; we have little space.
Please make some effort and exchange few messages with me or tell me something about yourself. As much as I like meeting new people, I also like feeling freely at my home and not being worried what I should expect of a newcomer ;)

I perceive couchsurfing as a place to meet, to exchange, to know new cultures, new people. Not a costless hotel. It's also because I have little space and I don't have an extra free room for a guest.

Interests

https://www.behance.net/semilia
I was studying at the Univeristy of Arts in Poznan, I like illustration and picture books and I love animation.

Language and culture are the most fascinating things.

I love mountains, sea, nature, hiking, swimming, biking, dancing (but I don't like clubbing, I am not a party person ;))

And let’s climb! :D

Music, Movies, and Books

reportages and books about the world, other cultures, etnography, anthropology. Besides I like e.g.: Ursula Le Guin, Kafka, Houellebecq, Proust, Kundera, Llosa...

Many movies; recently Human, Salt of the earth, Fuocoammare.
Hero, Lost on translation, Stalker, various animations (Song of the sea etc)

Music? Hard question. First of all - world music (folk, traditional music etc.).
Generally I prefer music that can't be found on the radio. I used to listen to old rock (I’ll never stop loving the doors).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a bus to Napoli alone (28 hours on bus), not knowing a single word in italian (I had never been to Italy before) and I started working voluntarily there. Best experience imaginable! Best memories!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help you get super power!
(I heard that to understand polish is a super power)

Besides I make jewelry, crochet, knit, draw, right now I am learning how to renovate old furniture.
Probably I am also not so bad at cooking (polish and not only polish dishes).

I would like to learn to play drums (I tried djembe once).

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Mexico, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Tunisia, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Italy, Poland
