I have two main passions in life: seeing new places and meeting new people.

I've lived in California for 2 years now, and recently graduated with a masters in Clinical Counseling. Before I came to California, I spent 4 years in Barcelona which was amazing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't used CS for a while now, but I'm excited to get back in the community and meet some awesome people! One of my best friends here in the Bay is someone I met in Beirut back in 2011.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
I love 70's rock; The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Bowie etc.
I like 80's classics every now and then and I also listen to a fair bit of jazz and blues, mainly Billie Holiday. And I love reminiscing about the good old songs from the 90's I grew up with!

MOVIES
My favourite movie is probably Dr. Strangelove by Stanley Kubrick. I'm a pretty dedicated cinema fan and I like most genres, except maybe scary movies or romantic comedies (if too cheesy!).
Nowadays I mostly watch series though, and Arrested Development is probably my all time favourite.

BOOKS
I love to read and at the moment I'm mostly reading books about therapy and psychology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to Cairo on my own when I was 19. I ended up living with an Egyptian family for about a year, and I still think of them as "my Egyptian family".

I can teach you languages (some Arabic or Swedish for example).

I can sing if you know how to play an instrument :)
