About Me

Hi! Oi! Hola!
I'm Emilia from Foz, Brazil. I'm not always able to host, but I can definitely show you around the city and possibly accompany you to visit some tourist attractions here. I'm usually more free from Thursday-Saturday so that's when I have more time to host / show people around

I love languages and I'm currently trying to reach an acceptable level in Greek and maybe someday come to Greece for a longer period of time. I enjoy learning about different cultures and traditions and I love trying new food.

I like swimming and spending time at the beach and also just walking around new places to explore.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Morat, Ha-ash, Oreja de Van Gogh, Konstantinos Argiros, Paula Fernandes, Lady Antebellum, etc
Movies/Series: Manifest, Stranger Things, Dark, Maestro in Blue, to be continued
Books: not sure, but last summer I read like 20 Agatha Christie books in the metro/while waiting for transportation and I enjoyed them

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 18 I hitchhiked from Foz to Salta (Argentina) to volunteer. I had less than 1000 reais with me (around 200$ USD). I stayed there for around 2 weeks and hitchhiked back through Paraguay. I knew about 10 words in Spanish at the time and had never hitchhiked before in my life.... Not all parts of the experience were amazing, but it's fun to remember it now

I also once spent around a week living in an airport
