I just quit my job in Seattle to travel through southern Africa for 6 months.

Travelers (especially couchsurfers) are the best, most welcoming people! I'm just trying to meet more of these people and explore new cities with locals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couchsurfed once after it was recommended to me by a couple of my friends. My one experience was great and I thought it was a good way to make local friends. My host showed me an unexpected side of LA, even getting me to run in the LA marathon!

Eventually, I'd like to host courchsurfers too.
