Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hi!
We are Emilie and Valentine, two Parisian girls currently living in Chile and Argentina. We both speak English and Spanish.

We've always loved to travel and discover new places. Not only culture, spirits and places, we enjoy living our experiences to the fullest and that is mainly why we want to couchsurf: It is for us a good starting point to discover a place as it really is, to live the local experience! I grew up in Paris, then lived twice in Chile and Valentine has lived in South Africa, Congo, Canada, and Argentina. We are very interested in literature, movies, theatre, and we love to party. That is one of the reasons why we would be very happy to bring you some good Chilean and Argentinian wine, or some other local alcohol (Pisco and Fernet) to share with you.
We obviously are very openminded and it is a thrill when we meet new people!

I have spent three days in Rio last year and since then I yearn to come back, because I fell in love with the city, but I didn't have the time to really explore it. Valentine also dreams about discovering Rio, so we have decided to take some holidays together amongst Cariocans.

We have planned to go to Rio from the 30th of August, until September 7th. We think that it would be a great opportunity to stay with someone who is living in Rio, who loves his/her city and be glad to share some tips with us to really enjoy the city!
