Hi! I'm Emilie

I started a gap year in January 2023 without any ending date (the more I can last the better :D) I just want to take the time to travel, enjoy simple pleasures of life, and meet people.
It's also an opportunity to do the things I always wanted, crazy adventures, visiting my friends around the world or just take time for myself (I'm into self development).

I believe I'm quite easy going, open-minded and have positive mindset. I'm always up for an adventure and just "go with the flow", as one of my best friend says.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I thing couchsurfing is a very nice way to travel because you can actually meet people and discover a place from their perspective. It feels that you're not just a tourist and you're a part of the city, even for a night.
It's just a way to meet people from everywhere and open your horizons.
When I'll have my own place, I'll be happy to give back and make travellers discover my town from my perspective.

I'm listening a lot of type of music: jazz, rock, blues, latino, electro, reggae, dub, soul, salsa, bachata...
Some of artists I'm listening at the moment : Jorja Smith, Bon Entendeur, Amy Winehouse, FKJ, Black Pumas, Manu Chao, Vicente García... but always in for rock classic as Queen, Red Hots, Pixies, Scorpions, U2...

I love reading, mostly novels, fiction, polar, travel and self development books

Algo increíble que he hecho

One of my biggest adventure so far was a trip of 5 month with my friend in South East Asia when I was 22.
We bought a motobike to travel around Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos and it was an incredible. Travelling by motobike made me feel so free.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I like to cook and learn new recipes, it's always nice to share a dinner because food is amazing. And always up to learn or teach few words of a new language :D

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Could be a drink, a dinner, a recipe, a walk... I also really like to share intercultural experience in general and different point of vue about things in life.
