My names is Emilie, living in London for 2 years, and here everyone calls me Em !

After years in Paris, working as a costume designer, a year in Belgium, I've decided to move to London and it was, so far, one of the best decision I've never made !

Absolutely in love with this city and people, I'm based in East London, Hackney Wick, surrounded by a beautiful and vibrant artistic community!

I've discovered here how to be fearless, happier and after years without doing any artistic personal project I'm now back in the game as a performer, training in dance and acting, writing, performing my own texts.

Couchsurfing is definitively a nice alternative way to travel. Not only an economic question but mainly who to meet and connect with new people. Absolutely love the concept !

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

10 years that I'm moving out nearly every year and i never move without all my books. Problem is I always buy new ones so my collection get bigger and bigger. I used to read loads of novels but I'm really into essays, especially political/ art essays. The one I'm reading atm? An essays about dialogues into performances! Music always. I don't spend a week without listening to music or dancing, it's a really important medium for my own creative process. Every art medium actually.

Going to Nepal. I haven't traveled a lot yet but definitively this trip was one of the most amazing thing I've done!
