Overview
About Me
I've been living in Paris for the past 11 years now. I work there as an independent worker in photography. I do digital retouching mainly for advertising.
Curious and outgoing, i am always happy to meet new people, and throw myself in new adventures. I grew up surrounded with people from all over the world. One of my best friend is half japaneese, half french and i developed quite a fascination for the japanese culture.
I am keen on Art in all its forms, and have quite a passion for food, always willing to discover new tastes... I spend a lot of time in concert rooms, festivals, museums, gallery and theatre. I nerver spend a day without listening to music. Most of the time surrounded by friends.
When i visit a country, i like to walk a lot, just stroll in the streets randomly to get a good feeling of the atmosphere. I enjoy contemplative breaks.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I never did it, i usually get on a plane without really planning my trip and just go with the flow. But this time, i wanna try couchsurfing to get to know people, share their lives, have interesting exchanges and get to know a country from the inside.
I am sure it the best way to trully get to know a country.
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to many different type of musics: going from classic to electronic, going through trip hop, world music, rock or pop...
to throw few names: Max Richter, Hindi Zahra, Radiohead, HVOB, Tricky, PJ Harvey, Serge Gainsbourg, Patti Smith, Prince, David Bowie, Bjork, Beth Gibbons, massive Attack, and much more actual bands...
As Movie makers, I like Alejandro González Iñárritu, Wes anderson, Coppola (both francis Ford and his daughter sofia), Pedro Almodovar, Xavier Dolan or independent film industry... I am very sensitive to the picture in a movie (maybe too much ;-) ).
Books: Amin Maalouf, stefan Zweig, Jonathan Tropper, Amelie Nothomb, Tonino Benacquista, Regine Deforges...
if you are interested in art, i'd be happy to exchange with you about my favorite artists...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The last one i did, was crossing the mediterrannean see, to join corsica island from Hyeres, south of france, being just 2 persons on a boat. I took us 25 hours, we didn't sleep, and the sky by night in the middle of the see was absolutely fantastic.
