Hi, I’m a 23 year old Canadian (half German), I’m in culinary school and working weekends in a restaurant so I’m rather busy and don’t have that much time but I’ll try to hang out with you in the evenings/ late afternoons or weekend mornings :)
I love discovering new places and cultures!
I’m passionate about food (I love cooking) (obviously, being in culinary school), meditation, sports/an active or even holistic lifestyle (my favourite sports include swimming, running, yoga and exercising) and of course travelling!
My mom is Martine, born and raised in Canada. When she was younger she went to Europe for 5 months where she met my dad (in Spain), she’s travelled to South America and a bit in south east Asia! The first time my parents lived together was on the Philippines actually!
My dad is Matthias, born and raised in Germany. He’s been to quite a few countries in Asia, often for work but he loves to explore different cultural aspects there (mainly the food haha). He’s a big comic fan!
We are currently renting out a room to Younes, an Algerian student who left his country for the first time to study political science here. Sometimes I wake up to hear him and my mom have a discussion about US politics or religion so if you want to have interesting and challenging conversations this is the house to be in!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing to get in touch with local people, to have new, interesting and good conversations and of course to stay on a budget so I can travel for longer haha
Now that I am back home I want to give back to the community so I started to host - my parents also enjoy very much to meet people from across the world and hear about their adventures!

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy learning about history (especially of the places I’m visiting), languages and traditions of other cultures.

I can teach you how to cook/prepare vegetables in many interesting ways (they are my favourite food group and they never get boring!), practice your english, German or French, and probably many others things, it depends on what you also like!

I can share hitchhiking stories, travel tips, all my knowledge about Montreal including some fun facts, lots of food and of course my time!
