Hello there! My name's Émilie, I'm 25 years old and I'm a french canadian who want to discover the world, a little village at a time. I already went to Costa Rica for 5 weeks, vunlunteering as a lifeguard, then I went again for 3 weeks to follow a ocean lifesaving formation. I also went to France to visit the place, admire the architecture and learn about the history. Finally, I went for a 3 weeks wild camping trip in western canada because there's no better place in the world than in the heart of nature. I'm a really resourceful backpacker who is purpose is to meet new people and learn from them, theirs experiences and their culture by sharing a coffee or a home! I'm a high school teacher and a true believer that the best school is the vast world and that the true teachers are every person that cross our path.

I've got a lot of energie, a smile that never fades, an infinite pool of solutions and an insatiable thirst for adventure.

Interests

I'm really interest into learning to surf (I'm a beginner). I am a competitive snowboarder in canada and surf would be a very complementary sport!
I've already did skydiving, paragliding, hang-gliding, rock climbing, cliff jumping, rafting, and the list go on. I also did: new experiences trying, new people meeting, landscape contemplating and my biggest fear is not to have enough of one life to live it all.

What else? A lot of things obviously: how are we supposed to resume a whole person into words? I will try my best. I've got a lovely cat and a couple of plants, so I can keep living things alive. I cook well, so I can feed human being. I'm educate and went outside my house a couple of times, so I can have interesting conversations.
I like to do thing slightly differently than the mass. For example, I could have had a dog, but I had a cat trained like a dog instead (she comes with me on hiking, cycling, kayaking and road trip). I'm alway ready to try new things, as much about food than about activities or life philosophy.
