Hello friends! :) My name is Emilie, I am a 20 year old female from Sydney, Australia. New to the travelling scene, I am planning my first overseas trip to Europe in February 2019, to discover all of the wonderful things Europe has to offer!
A little about myself; I am an extremely outgoing, bubbly, energetic, respectful and social person. I have a strong love and passion for music and I believe that all genres have something special to offer, so I enjoy listening to a variety of tunes. I love the outdoors, the beach is my second home. I am vegan but it is not something that I force onto anyone else as everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Being able to truly immense myself into other countries cultures and way of life is definitely something that I aspire to do, hence this trip (first of many).
My trip
The trip I am planning to take place in February 2019 will see me through; The Netherlands, Belgium, France for this trip. I am aware and respectful of personal space, privacy and ensuring that all areas of the place I am residing at are kept clean and left in top condition. I am an occasional drinker, I don't smoke and I am not a party animal, but I would like to visit some night spots in each city I visit to understand what is popular outside of Sydney, Australia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What better way to see a country and truly immerse yourself into the local culture, lifestyle, make new friends and gain a deep understanding of its customs than to stay with locals?!

As stated above, I am the kind of person who loves to learn above other people, their cultures and way of life. I strongly believe that by taking part in couch surfing (if provided the opportunity) will enable me to gain an in-depth understanding of each place I visit and also make lifelong friends along the way and hopefully host couch surfers of my own one day.

Music is the pathway to my heart! As stated above, I enjoy all genres of music from Hardstyle, Hip Hop, Rock n Roll to Jazz. If it makes myself and other people happy, it is a winner in my eyes.

I read more now than I ever did when i was going through school. Books that teach me about different countries, languages, places, religions or just some non-fiction indulgences most books excite me and bring me a certain type of happiness that I never knew I needed in life.
