Overview
About Me
Hi ! I'm Emilie, I'm an engineer by training and I'm looking to discover a way of life that matches my ideas. I grew up in the countryside where I learned to live close to animals, grow vegetables and do simple manual tasks. Since then, I have lived mainly in the city and although I like the excitement of it, I feel the need to reconnect with nature.
To be a little more specific about myself, I love to cook and discover new recipes. I like to spend time outside, whether it's walking, working or just enjoying a sunny day with a book. Recently I have been involved in a number of charity projects. The first one consists in bringing together lonely elderly people through the planting of herbs with children. The second one aims at reducing menstrual insecurity among women.
At the moment I am trying to take some time for myself to figure out what path I want to take in my life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel but I'm the kind of person who organizes things at the last minute ;)
With Couchsurfing I hope to have the opportunity to meet people who really want to show me their city from a different angle than the one you get when you're a tourist.

Every day is an extraordinary adventure if you choose to make it so.
If you're really interested in the adventures I've had, I'm sure I can find one to tell you about over a cup of coffee.
