About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Flood people's imagination with crazy, fantastic, touching, humorous, amazing stories
ABOUT ME
I'm a dynamic, social, and über-creative person proudly sporting blue hair and a tattooed back. Don't let my black clothes fool you; my colorful personality and undying smile balance them out. ;)
I work at a video game company (Frima Studio) as Game Design Director so I'm a little bit of a geek. I also have a fiction blog (and soon a gaming blog) and should start querying my first novel before the end of the year. I also watch a whole lot of TV shows (45 minutes nicely fits in a busy schedule).
I like to learn, try new things and have been dying to bring a little more travel into my life (hence my brand new CS account!) I'm currently learning Finnish as I plan to go there someday and believe a travelling experience has a lot to gain from knowing the language of the visited country.
PHILOSOPHY
Passion is everything. It's what makes me get up in the morning, what pushes me to live at a thousand miles an hour, what sticks a smile on my face at every hour of the day. I couldn't live without being passionate about what I do, what I learn, who I am.
Also, problems don't exist; there are only opportunities to find solutions. ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm a newbie who'll surf for the first time when I go to Surrey, BC mid-octobre 2012! I'd like to welcome surfers at my place but I've got to straighten out a few things first.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hope to be able to fill out this text box soon. ;)
Interests
My interests are varied, though they somehow always circle back to artistic creation and emotional experience. Reading/writing, listening/singing, watching/acting, learning/using and eating/cooking are a big part of my life.
Stories are a big part too and I'm drawn to anything with some fantastic/supernatural/sci-fi aspect. Anything that isn't plain old daily life (not that I never enjoy romantic comedies or dramas). Within that wide range of stories, darker themes have the stronger pull though I can't watch horror movies since my heart surgery in 2010.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'll try real hard to make this quick
Music: A wide range of metal and industrial with the occasional classical, underground pop, energetic electro and oriental beats when I feel like dancing. Current favorite: Emilie Autumn.
Books: Fantasy/sci-fi/supernatural including a whole lot of vampires and the occasional horror stories. Current favorite: Kim Harrison.
TV Shows:Again with the fantasy/sci-fi/supernatural with some witty procedural cop shows thrown in there. Definitely action-packed stuff. Current favorite: a tie between Lost Girl and Supernatural.
Movies: Similar to the TV shows with a soft spot for visually stunning stuff. Current favorite: MirrorMask.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching the sun set on Nice and the Mediterranean while sitting on a balcony in Menton, sipping red wine and singing along as a stranger strummed California Dreaming on his guitar.
Going through a heart surgery (not open heart but still) at 20 years old and half-waking up midway through the process.
