Me and Émilie are travelling to Norway in mai and June 2024 !

ABOUT US
Curious, sweet, joyful and open minded ! We like to meet new people and new culture.

Émilie : Curious by nature, I'm a sensitive person who likes to learn, to discover and being amazed by beautiful things in nature and in life. I like singing, dancing and move, laughing, writing, and well cooking and eating. I'm always interested by arts and crafts, nature, ecology, sciences. and above all to improve my english !
I love to meet and listen to people who share their passions.

David : I'm a young man in mind (sadly not as in shape as I used to be but stil fit -cycling everywhere helps- )and always interested in learning new stuf !
My main activities for the time are Yoga, dancing (Lindy-hop) and sailing. Well, Sailing should be pointed out as a passion, I sail all kind of craft from small dingies to full rigger when an opportunity occur...
I like to meet new people and have a lot of friend, some of them around the world...
I'm engaged in different associations and committed in the board of one running 2 traditionnal sailing ship.
I love to eat too and can cook even though I don't have as much interest as Émilie.
I'm very interested in how we can adapt to climate change, and change ours ways to help protect the planet.
There's more but if I tell you now you won't have anything to ask when we meet ! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed my first couch on december 28th 2009 in Irland, Great Time !
Before that we had a couple of lithuanians staying on our couch in my flat when I lived in Lyon.
When I moved to Brest (2010) people came in and out and I also took part in some local CS events.
For the past 4 years it's been a bit quiet with covid and then moving in a new flat with my girlfriend Émilie and having it refurbished !

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Machu Pichu, Peru; Parque Torres del Paine, Chili. Being at sea for 4 days between morroco and canary Islands, meeting a freind in moutains of Kerala , India.
Summer 2012 : beeing a volunteer in Brest tall ship meeting boarding incredible ships an ending up climbing in the mast of one of them !
2013 : cross the Atlantic on a 12m catamaran, cross the baltic sea on 73m 3 masts ship
2014 : work in the rigg of the 3 mast ship while crossing the Kiel canal, Germany.

2015 : win the local pub trivia with my hosts in Gagetown ! it was just perfect.
2015 : cross the Atlantic from Canada to France on tall ship L'Hermione
2016 : celebrate my 40th anniversary surrounded by loads of friends around a circus tent in a field
2019 : I met Émilie, and now we are two to travel and meet the world !

I can share my knowledge in sailing, if you come in the week end I might be able to take you sailing.
I've been learning Lindy hop for a couple of years. Émilie can help you to sing, dance and cook ! :)
