About Me
ABOUT ME
Hello!! I graduated from college in 2011, where I studied Hispanic Studies and Psychology. Since then I've been living in Madrid and working as an English teaching assistant in two public high schools here; it's been challenging, but ultimately a really positive experience from which I have learned so much. The longer I have been here in Madrid the more I appreciate what it has to offer. I love exploring the different neighborhoods, getting involved in events in the city, and escaping on the weekends and enjoying nature that's nearby. I like satisfying my curiosity about other people by meeting new people in new places and sharing experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
During college some of my housemates and I hosted a few people on our couch in Portland and it was a really fun experience. Although unfortunately we currently don't have the space to host anyone at my tiny apartment, I'm still hoping to participate in this awesome community while I'm in Europe!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed last summer in Munich and had a great experience. I'm eager to meet more great people soon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hard to narrow it down...one amazing thing I'm so grateful I got to do was visit my brother in Namibia! The whole experience was incredible, and one specific memory I have is climbing up an enormous sand dune and the view from the top: nothing but red-orangey rolling waves of sand, stretching out into the horizon.
