About Me
CURRENT MISSION
“People are strange: They are constantly angered by trivial things, but on a major matter like totally wasting their lives, they hardly seem to notice.” <--TO NOT DO THAT
ABOUT ME
25 year old aspiring actor living in NYC - I work at a nonprofit in the city by day and involve myself in merrymaking by night.
I grew up an army brat and developed a fascination with the Earth and all its parts at a very young age. Even though my family was never very wealthy, my parents put a huge emphasis on traveling and experiencing other people and cultures.
I knew I wanted to be an actor when I was six, which was also about the same time that I knew I had to live in New York City. I've been here for three years and am constantly surprised by this incredible, powerful, fast-moving, loving, hating, vibrant, dirty, never-stopping place where I live.
I love animals (especially dogs) and have been a vegetarian for about 2.5 years. I have a raucous dog named Keeko, whom I have been told I look (and act) like. I take this as a compliment, as she is the most awesome dog in the world.
I watch a lot of theater, read a lot of theater, talk a lot of theater. It is my passion, my life blood. I would love to recommend some shows for you to see in the city, but totally understand if theater is not your thing!
PHILOSOPHY
I adore travel, openness, connectedness and good food.
Treat animals with respect. Don't take oneself too seriously. Things will work out, unless you die.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far, I have only surfed, but now that I'm back in one place, I am excited to start hosting!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My best friend and I took a month long road trip across the US and into Canada and Couchsurfed the whole way. We met some fairly incredible people along the journey.

I am currently on a mission to read all 350 books on my Kindle in Alphabetical order (I just finished American Psycho. It's further in than you think!). I love book recommendations - give me some!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saw a herd of forty buffaloes (five feet away from mine and my best friend's tent) in the Badlands, South Dakota turn and stampede into the full moon-ed night.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to do a cartwheel. Although I am not actually very good at teaching that. I can teach you how to make some really good vegetarian food that even meateaters will like. I can teach you how to make my dog like you (clue: it will involve many treats).
I'm also really good at writing resumes and cover letters.
