ABOUT ME

I am a friendly warm person, who likes to know how it looks on the other side of everything. I care about my friends and family, and like to discovery new things all the time. I am currently a Physical Science teacher (higher grades). Me and my husband are married now for 30 years, and we have two amazing grown up children (students). We hosted exchange students from Canada and Switzerland and Germany during the past years, and then decided that we would to meet more people from all over the world! I value experiences far greater than possessions.

兴趣

I love music! Apart from science, music is my passion. I have the privileged to be a church organist, and had various choirs throughout the years. I also couch young people to sing. Our whole family loves nature, and like to spend time in the wonder or our diverse South African coutryside. We like to see our own country, and travel a lot if possible. To be alone in the mountains, bushveld or even the remote Karoo or mighty shoreline is the ultimate of wonderful. We also like to spend time with handcraft, gardening or just with a good book to read. My husband and children are fencers, and that sport has also taken us all over the country and even abroad.

I am a musician myself and enjoy all good music. I love to read - books that keeps you ond edge until the last page. We are not great on TV but love good movies.

To swim in the ice cold water of a mountain pool in Magoebaskloof! To be alive and see the wonders of God's creation in that moment. To hear the awsome music made by ordinary people in my male choir, and see the wonder in their eyes as they feel it too.

I would like to learn about almost everything. I love knowledge. My family can offer training in fencing! (My husband is an excellent fencing coach)
