Overview
About Me
I'm doing a Masters of Publishing at Sydney Uni. I just finished my first semester so during the mid year break I decided to travel around Europe for a month with a few friends.
My main interest is literature. I did a Bachelor of Arts with an English major and now I'm doing a masters of publishing. I have to read a lot as part of my degree. But I am a huge Austen fan. I've read all of her books several times.
I like going to art galleries and museums, good food, I like going to cool and interesting bars, I like beer (I've been drinking a lot of dark beer on this trip an it's been really good) and red wine, and I also like checking out the parks in each city I visit. I think my favourite park so far was the villa de borghese in Rome.
I definitely want to see as much of each city a possible and get to know as many different types of people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new to couch surfing but I'd really love to meet locals. I've been staying in hostels for the past two weeks (and they're obviously fun) but I'm only meeting other travellers. I would just really enjoy getting to know the city from a different perspective.

Music, Movies, and Books
Austen just generally all of her books are great. But my favourite Austen novel is persuasion.
Bronte sisters. Love Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights. Also a huge fan of Charlotte bronte's novel Villette. It's not as well known as the others but it's really good.
George Orwell, 1984
Kazou Ishogaru, Never let me go
Tolstoy, Anna Karenina. I've been reading war and peace on this trip but I haven't gotten far
And there are so many more books I love, but I don't think I can't fit them in here.
Movies though I like Amelie, Picnic at Hanging Rock, Withnail and I, O Brother Where Art Thou (pretty much all of the Coen brothers movies), and Almost Famous
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The other day actually, I went rafting in Cesky Kromlov. That was so much fun. Cesky Kromlov is such a cute little town. I also made a nail at the blacksmiths in the castle.
