About Me

I'm a bundle of energy and love to learn about new things. I'm constantly on the go to interesting places or trying to meet people from all different lifestyles. The world has a lot to offer, but you have to go out there to get it.

I'm a very happy and warm person. I'm always called out for smiling. As I have grown, this happiness has only grown as I have taken more opportunities and experiences available to me.

I graduated in 2016 from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY with a bachelors in computer science, a master's in Computer information systems and a minor in music. I currently work full time as a software engineer in Charlotte and tutor coding on the side. Therefore, I'm kinda quirky and awkward at times, but I think that makes me even better. I play a few musical instruments, mainly the viola, piano and guitar. In my spare time, I love to go out and socialize at bars or others' houses, or to volunteer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I got inspired to travel when I studied abroad in Cork, Ireland for a semester. Since then, I have been enamored by the world around me. I have had great experiences visiting new countries and meeting people, and have both hosted and surfed since college. I saw many cool things I would not have known about on my own and made some great friendships along the way.
In my opinion, meeting locals is one of the best ways to learn about the places you visit. You see much more than the typical travelers do, and I would love to make lifelong friends everywhere I go.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to get to know my hosts and really bond with them. I would also love to hear your insight about the city and its hidden treasures. I would be a very considerate, clean, respectful and friendly guest. I'm not a great cook by any means, but I would love to help make a nice meal with you or take you out for a delicious dinner. I will also supply my host with a nice bottle of wine and some fun stories. :)
