About Me
Hi there! I recently made a career change from Recruiting/HR to Personal Training, and I am looking to expand my horizons, and experience some of what life has to offer! I am very personable, respectful and responsible, as well as creative, open-minded, and out-going. I have not done much traveling YET, but have some trips planned to Iceland, and Mexico.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have a couple of friends who swear by this app. It seems like the best way to meet people and have the most honest and authentic experience possible in a new place.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music is extremely vast. I can appreciate most genres, but tend to gravitate towards EDM. As far as movies and books go, i like dark and witty comedies, as well as anything with a good plot/script.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm not one for bragging (about anything serious,) but i recently saw an online post for a 4-day music festival on the other side of the country. After a 2 day debate, I decided to put my apprehensions and fears aside and JUST GO. I stayed with people i met on the festival site, took classes that forced me out of my comfort zone, and shocked myself every step of the way. Typically i need to plan everything ahead and know details about everything i may/may not be doing. This was AMAZING accomplishment for me and has given me more courage to want to travel more, with or without friends.
Teach, Learn, Share
As a personal trainer, i am often in teaching mode. I need to be observant and articulate. I am learning new things every day about the human body and how to modify workouts to accommodate dysfunctions or injuries. As part of a team of trainers, it is essential that we all share new information with each other about client injuries, pain, and alternatives so everyone can have an equally beneficial workout experience. This crosses over into every day life. Learning how to listen and speak to different individuals, and understanding that everyone, hears and interprets things differently.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I feel like i bring a good energy to the table, and can communicate with just about anyone, on any platform. I am courteous and appreciative and would not take any accommodation for grated. I always insist on reciprocating in some way, whether i pay for food, or clean, or help with some type of work.
