Hello! :) I'm Emily, a 31 year old adventurer from the UK. I had a incredible year-long trip exploring South America and came to love the couch surfing app to find lovely like-minded people to share adventures with. :)

I love meeting new people all over the world and really feel that the experiences you have with people you meet along the way are some of the best parts of the adventure.

I love live music, cooking, dancing, hiking, learning about local culture, doodling - and became a muralist whilst traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a week volunteering with a conservation project in the Sumatran Rainforest. I joined monitoring walks to record data of the behavior of local orangutans and it was INCREDIBLE to see them in the wild. The project works to protect and expand the wildlife corridor which enables the orangs to access the national park - I felt very lucky to be a part of such an amazing project.

I loved learning Spanish during my 9 months in South America, there's a lot more to learn and it's getting a bit rusty so on the lookout for opportunities to improve :)
