Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm trying to minimize expenditures as I travel solo in Amsterdam and Iceland in September. This is my first trip out of the US as a solo traveler, so I am excited to meet new friends as I do so. I'd love to stay with a host that is able to show me a bit of their culture and beautiful country in a way that normal travels do not always offer.
