Overview
About Me
I used to work as a research chemist, but realized that I didn't want that for the rest of my life. So I quit, and just finished nursing school and also teach yoga. I live with my husband who works in HR and also studies yoga and thai massage. We sometimes foster kittens.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have a good friend who couch surfs and says it is the most incredible way to travel and to meet new people. She is always impressed by how giving people can be and she says it has really helped to change her perspective. She has inspired me to try this out and I hope to be able to host and travel.
Also, I have Celiac's Disease, which means I can't eat gluten, and in the past, this has made me hesitant to travel. Also, I want to offer anyone that stays with me, a gluten free safe haven for anyone who has those same concerns.
Interests
I like being outside, having interesting conversations with new people, and trying new things. I practice yoga and meditation and that's a big part of my life. I really love people and finding out our differences and what makes us the same.
I like music, comedy shows, and visiting gardens. I enjoy cooking and I hope to learn how to salsa dance sometime in the near future.
