About Me

Hi!

I'm Emily, a 21 year old full time University student studying in the U.K, I'm from Brighton on the south east coast of the U.K.

I love to share my experiences with people whether it be travel, music, food or whatever comes my way. I'm here to meet new people and provide a positive impact on peoples lives.

I love to explore new places in the U.K and around the world whenever I get the chance.

I'm open to all types of conversation and to learn new languages from people all over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a passion for all types of music from Pop to Folk, Rock, Korean Pop and much more. Some of my favourite artists consist of Paramore, The Menzingers, Childish Gambino and many more to write. I'm open to new bands and experiencing live music.

I love all types of books from classic literature to academic textbooks, I love fantasy and thrillers but again I'll read almost anything

Movies I will watch almost anything other than Romance as I have no interest, I'm happy to explore all areas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered in a remote Island village in Malaysia last summer, I was able to help the local community improve their facilities which benefited all of the people on the island. It was truly wonderful to see how grateful they were for our help and the generosity they showed to us.

Further our group were able to help young children improve their english language skills in such a short amount of time. It was amazing to see them learn and grow in the time we spent with them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm able to share my love of good food and cooking skills with the people I stay with from simple dishes to more complex ones.

I can give advice on traveling around the U.K and other countries, I'm able to share my stories and experiences of the places that I've visited and my love for helping others in anyway that I can.

I'm happy to have deep and interesting conversations about development and global politics or to give advice on international travel.

I'm happy to learn about cultures and traditions from around the world and share my experiences of the best places to visit either in the U.K, especially Brighton or London.
