My name is Em and I'm a lover of all things adventure, fun, friends, family, desserts and laughter!

I'm a simple, easy-going girl originally from country Victoria, Australia and am in love with exploring this big wide world of ours! For the last five years (in between some journalism/sign language/Italian language study) I've worked my butt off in hospitality for months on end to afford a big adventure!! I then go exploring and eventually drag myself back home to start working and saving again for the next trip!! It's a never ending cycle!!!!!! But at the moment I wouldn't have it any other way!

I've been lucky enough to explore many parts of the world already (ultimate favourites so far being Italy, New Zealand and Kenya) but am super excited to have my first American experience from the start of June! I'll be going to work at a summer camp in Pennsylvania (as a social media/bunk specialist) with some time to wander the USA before and after! Couldn't be more keen!!

PHILOSOPHY:
100% stand by the fact that sure, the sights are magnificent but it's the people you meet and spend your time with that makes travelling the globe SO worthwhile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ultimately I'm here on couch surfers at this time to find some fun, dynamic and welcoming souls that would be happy to host me while I'm on my American tour! I could easily afford a hostel/hotel however I am all for meeting and spending time with and connecting with new exciting people! When I get back home to Aus I'm hoping to become more involved in couch surfing and invite other travellers into my home! What a fantastic, honest system this is!! A Canadian friend introduced me to this community and she couldn't speak more highly of it! I'm so excited to join the absolutely awesome gang here at Couch Surfers!
